Timber
Al of our furniture is handcrafted using only the finest materials sourced from UK suppliers, we only use the highest quality materials. And of course, over 70+ years of experience gained in all aspects of carpentry, joinery and furniture manufacture.

TULIP WOOD (poplar)
Is a hardwood with a fine grain, it's mostly knot free which allows for the highest quality of finishes to the external areas of all our painted cabinets. Using hardwoods minimises any natural movement in the timbers.

SOLID OAK
Our European oak is FSC certified prime grade which means it has very few knots and has been sourced sustainably. It has a beautiful natural colouring and is protected with a limed hard wax to give a level of protection and durability..

OAK VENEERED BOARDS
Are chosen for the base shelf and panels, especially across larger surface area. Again, provides a strong base ensuring many years of durability.

MOISTURE RESISTANT MDF
Is chosen for our painted tops on other furniture ranges. Perfect for bathrooms where water is present.

Joinery
Our workshop has been located in Sussex, England for 30+ years, skills were learnt from the age of 16 and we construct all of our furniture using a variety of traditional skills and modern machinery.

Our doors are all constructed using stub tenon joints.
​
We also incorporate pocket hole joinery to ensure robust fixings - our furniture is built to last!

Our drawers are made from solid Maple Wood and are joined using dovetailed joints and are engraved 'W|T' inside the drawers.
Drawers & Doors
The configuration of the drawers in our vanity units is dependant on the style chosen, see product descriptions.

Our units designed to fit a counter top basin have two working drawers, the top drawer contains a W100mm cut out for the waste and plumbing.
​
The top drawer on our under mounted basin cabinet is a false front due to the depth of the basin within the unit and the second drawer will have a W100mm waste cut out to house the pipework.
​
The height inside each drawer is 87mm. The bottom drawer is fully operational on all of our units.
​
The depth of our working drawers on our 450mm deep counter top units are 250mm, on our 550mm deep under mount sink units are 350mm.

Our drawers are dovetailed front and back.
​
Our doors have our signature integral magnet system meaning there is a luxurious feel to the door closing with no metal on metal clashing upon closing.

PAINTED
At Willow Tree Interiors, we specialize in creating custom, bespoke furniture that perfectly fits the style and needs of each of our customers. With over 30 years of experience in the interior design industry, we are well-equipped to bring your vision to life.
Our expert team of craftsmen use only the best materials and finishes to ensure that each piece is of the highest quality. We pride ourselves on using environmentally-friendly products, and all of our pieces, except those in natural oak, are primed with two coats and sprayed in the workshop with at least two top coats of water based eggshell. Our clients are able to choose any colour they desire from Mylands with Little Greene with Paint & Paper Library to come.
We offer a range of customisation options, such as paint colour and finish. As a result, each piece of furniture is tailored to fit the needs of our customers. We also understand that at the time of order, you may not have a confirmed paint choice, which is why we have left this field optional in our shop. Once you've made your selection, simply send your colour choice to us via email - we ask that you do this no later than 3 days. (info@willowtreeinteriors.com)

Oak
Our oak products are of the highest quality, handcrafted with the utmost care and attention to detail. We use only the finest natural oak, finished in a subtle chalky natural stain topped of with 2 coats of lacquer to ensure they are splash resistant and will last for generations with out the need to apply.

Other Hardwoods
We use only the finest materials in our creations, including walnut, oak, and other hardwoods.
Our careful selection of these materials, combined with our attention to detail, ensures that each piece is of the highest quality and will last for years to come.
We also use natural oils to treat our woods, allowing our clients to maintain their furniture's original finish.
